De fil en aiguille

French cross stitch magazine De fil en aiguille is published once a month and we receive the newest issue to Violarium as soon as it is published. Some of the issues are special issues concentrating on certain designs, like samplers.

Every issue has lots of designs, there are always more than 60 pages in a special issue and even more pages in normal issues. In normal issues there are also articles (in French) about old techniques or designers, with lots of photos.

The magazine is published in French, but instructions and charts are clear and easy to read, so it is easy to stitch without knowing French. We have also made a small French-English dictionary and we'll enclose it with every issue ordered. You can phone or e-mail us anytime, if you have questions about the instructions!
